Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts Week 7 injury report: Wednesday

The first injury reports of the week for the Titans and Colts.

The bye week is officially in the rearview mirror as the Tennessee Titans now shift their focus toward the first of 12 straight games to close out the regular season.

The Titans (3-2) host the Colts (3-2-1) on Sunday in a battle for sole possession of first place in the AFC South.

Tennessee is well-rested and hopefully much healthier than their last outing when they were forced to play without their starting wide receiver (Treylon Burks), linebacker (Zach Cunningham), edge-rusher (Bud Dupree), safety (Amani Hooker), and right guard (Nate Davis), among others.

Add in the other starters on the season-ending injured reserve (IR) list such as Taylor Lewan and Harold Landry and it’s easy to see how hard this team was hit to start the season.

Now that the team has had their extended time off, it will be interesting to see which players are still on the injury report as the week progresses.

Dupree, Cunningham, Hooker, and Davis in particular are the ones to watch throughout the week. Elijah Molden is another one that bears watching to see if his 21-day practice window is opened at any time throughout the week.

As for the Colts’ injuries, the primary focus will be on the statuses of running back Jonathan Taylor, linebacker Shaquille Leonard, and edge-rusher Kwity Paye.

With all that said, let’s take a closer look at the initial injury reports for both teams.
