The Jazz had an active offseason in terms of trading away their All-Star players in SG Donovan Mitchell and C Rudy Gobert. Utah went 49-33 a season ago and it will be hard to replicate that success with a much different roster this season.

You can go ahead and PASS on the moneyline in this contest with Denver being heavy favorites on the road. The risk that comes with taking the Nuggets at their current odds to win is not worth the minimal return you’ll receive.
Against the spread
While I won’t take Denver’s moneyline, NUGGETS -7.5 (-110) seems like an ideal wager in this game. The Nuggets have the 2-time reigning MVP in Jokic and they have Murray returning to provide the team with more scoring.
On the other hand, the Jazz have a bunch of new pieces that are going to need time to get acclimated to begin the season. Even with scorers like SG Collin Sexton, SG Jordan Clarkson, and SF Lauri Markkanen, Utah likely doesn’t have enough to keep up with Denver.
Over/Under
The UNDER 224.5 (-110) seems like the bet in this matchup with the Nuggets and Jazz both being 20th or worse in pace a season ago. Denver prefers to run its half-court offense through Jokic, which should slow the game down on Wednesday.
