In just under three weeks the 2022-23 college basketball season will give us our first look at the North Carolina Tar Heels, the preseason No. 1 team in the nation. With the excitement at an all-time high fresh off a Final Four run, this Tar Heels team could be even better and if that’s the case, it should be a long run in the NCAA Tournament.
But before the season gets started, the Atlantic Coast Conference has announced their preseason team for the upcoming year. And right there on the first team are a pair of Tar Heels.
Armando Bacot and Caleb Love were both named preseason All-ACC First Team on Tuesday afternoon. They were joined by Miami’s Isaiah Wong, N.C. State’s Terquavion Smith and Duke’s Jeremy Roach:

The second team also featured a UNC player as guard R.J. Davis was named to that preseason team.
