The Carolina Panthers are expected to be sellers at the trade deadline, with plenty of assets to shop around the NFL. Chief among them are Christian McCaffrey and Brian Burns, who would both be good fits with the Rams.
On Tuesday, Burns sent Rams fans into a frenzy when he posted a video of a ram on his Instagram story. Immediately, some fans took that as a sign that he’s headed to the Rams in a trade – because that’s how social media works.
The post had nothing to do with football, but what else could he have possibly meant by posting that majestic animal?

It turns out, Burns just really likes animals! He saw all of the responses on Twitter and Instagram with fans speculating on a trade, so he had to clear things up.
He did so with a funny follow-up post.
Brian burns updated his IG story lol welp. @JFowlerESPN also reported that it the sense is around the league it would take a massive haul to get burns. Multiple first round picks and possibly more pic.twitter.com/Q9TvzWF20C

As much as Burns would help the Rams, they probably won’t have the assets to acquire him in a trade. He’ll likely require several top draft picks, even more than Von Miller commanded last year.
