Impact freshman defensive back, Denver Harris, has been named to The Athletic’s Midseason All-America Freshman Team.
Playing in every game but the Aggies’ Week 3 match-up versus Miami, Harris has produced a total of 14 tackles (10 solo). Harris’ play in coverage has been more impactful in recent weeks, as well, forcing pass break-ups in both the Mississippi State (2) and Alabama (1) games.
Look for Harris’ play to continue to improve as he gains more critical game experience in SEC play. He will be counted on in the coming weeks with some high-powered offenses looming on the Aggies’ schedule.
The Aggies travel to South Carolina, following their bye, to play the Gamecocks on Saturday night at 6:30PM CT.
