Colts’ Keke Coutee exits after scary hit on punt return

Colts WR Keke Coutee is being evaluated for a head injury.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keke Coutee exited the game Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars after take a scary hit on a punt return in the second quarter.

What turned out to be a solid 19-yard return, Coutee took a hit to his helmet and immediately looked to be out of sorts. He was able to walk off under his own power but went straight to the locker room.

The Colts then announced Coutee is being evaluated for a head injury and was ruled out at the start of the second half.

With Coutee likely entering the league’s concussion protocol, the Colts will lean on their four receivers.
