The last time Joe Burrow called Louisiana his main football home, he was part of the arguably best college football team of all time with LSU. Sixty touchdown passes, over 5,600 yards passing, an undefeated 15-0 campaign — Burrow’s Tigers had it all going in 2019.
Before Burrow’s Bengals warmed for a matchup with the Saints (+3) in New Orleans, the quarterback decided to make his return apt. How? He wore the No. 1 LSU jersey of his still-current No. 1 receiver Ja’Marr Chase — who also played an integral role with that legendary LSU team.
Oh yeah, Joe “Burreaux” is back. And you just know he expects great things from himself and his top target in Chase as they return to the Superdome:

That is quite a way to make your football homecoming back in Louisiana. Now Burrow and Chase just have to take the next big step to light up the field at the Superdome and make things come full circle.
