The “UNITY” alternates nearly stole the show in the Oklahoma Sooners 52-42 win over the Kansas Jayhawks. Better than the fits was the play by the guys wearing the tribute to former Oklahoma Sooners running back Dr. Prentice Gautt.
Oklahoma’s offense was nearly unstoppable, putting up over 700 yards of total offense and scoring a season-high 52 points. Dillon Gabriel by air and Eric Gray by ground had the Sooners moving through the Kansas defense with little resistance.
Brayden Willis and Marvin Mims had over 100 yards receiving and the Sooners’ defense made just enough stops to force Kansas to play from behind in a flurry.
The “UNITY” uniforms have been a big hit with a large portion of the fanbase and getting the win in the anthracite puts them over the top as an alternate.
As we do after every game, here are the best images from Oklahoma’s win over the Kansas Jayhawks.
