The Philadelphia 76ers had to make some tough decisions when it came to their roster after the preseason. They had to cut young players Isaiah Joe and Charles Bassey, whom the Sixers just could not afford to keep on the roster.
It appears Joe has found a landing spot rather quickly. The third-year guard out of Arkansas is signing a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, a rebuilding team that will give him an opportunity to play and develop next to other young players.

In two seasons with the Sixers, Joe averaged 3.7 points and a rebound while shooting 34.9% from deep. He shot 36.8% from deep as a rookie and the Thunder will give him an opportunity to grow and be a part of a promising young core in Oklahoma City who figure to be on the rise when Chet Holmgren returns from injury.
