Michigan football is set to play in its biggest game of the season. The Wolverines are set to kickoff at noon EDT with the undefeated No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions.
Last week, against Indiana, the maize and blue were without a few key players like Roman Wilson, Erick All, Cade McNamara, and Nikhai Hill-Green.
Michigan receives a little bit of help against the Nittany Lions on Saturday. The Wolverines return their homerun threat in Roman Wilson. After one game absence, Wilson will return to the lineup and will add the speed element to the field. He was dressed during pregame warmups and should play in some capacity.
The Wolverines are still without Erick All, Nikhai Hill-Green, and Cade McNamara.
But quarterback Cade McNamara warmed up by throwing some passes during pre-game warmups. It would appear that he is progressing and may be able to play in the next game or two by just watching.
Trente Jones went down last week against the Hoosiers and he also remains out. But Karsen Barnhart filled in nicely at right tackle last weekend and is expected to do the same.
On a really positive note, reports are saying that running back coach Mike Hart will return to the Michigan sideline on Saturday. Just one week ago, Hart was rushed to a hospital in Bloomington after collapsing during the game against Indiana with a medical emergency.
Injury Report:
WR Roman Wilson – IN
QB Cade McNamara – OUT
TE Erick All – OUT
LB Nikhai Hill-Green – OUT
DB Caden Kolesar – OUT
LS William Wagner – OUT
OL Trente Jones – OUT
