Video: Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr. on Friday were on weight for their second fight Saturday in Australia.

Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr. on Friday cleared the final hurdle before their rematch Saturday (Sunday in Australia) in Melbourne (ESPN, ESPN+}.

Haney, the undisputed lightweight champion, weighed in at 134.81 pounds for his title defense, .19 under the division limit of 135. Kambosos weighed 134.04.

The first time they fought, on June 5, Kambosos initially came in over the limit but came back within the allotted time and made weight. Haney won the first fight by a wide decision to claim all four major titles.

“We put in the work,” Kambosos said. “That’s a statement right there, and we’ll make a statement [in the fight] tomorrow.”

Not if Haney has anything to say about it.

“We gotta fight,” he said. “We’re gonna get it on tomorrow night. May the best man win.”
