Check out the results from the official UFC Fight Night 212 fighter weigh-ins.

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC Fight Night 212 fighter weigh-ins, where one fight was scrapped and another fighter missed weight.

In the main event, Alexa Grasso (14-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) takes on Viviane Araujo (11-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) in a women’s flyweight bout. Grasso and Araujo were the first two fighters to the scale and weighed in at 125.5 and and 126 pounds, respectively.

In the co-feature, Jonathan Martinez (16-4 MMA, 7-3 UFC) meets Cub Swanson (28-12 MMA, 13-8 UFC) at bantamweight. Swanson is making the move to 135 pounds for the first time in a UFC/WEC tenure of 29 fights. He hit the mark at 135 pounds without issue. Martinez was 135.5

CJ Vergara (10-3-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) missed weight for his flyweight bout on the prelims against Tatsuro Taira (11-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC). Vergara was three pounds over at 129 and will be fined 30 percent of his purse, but the fight will go on.

Prior to the weigh-ins, it was announced that due to weight-cutting issues for Askar Askarov (14-1-1 MMA, 3-1-1 UFC), his flyweight bout against Brandon Royval (14-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC) was canceled, which brings the event to 11 total fights.

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.
