Few of the big teams in college football lost in Week 6 (when it comes to those in the very top), but there certainly was some drama among a handful of teams.
Alabama came perilously close to losing to Texas A&M as both teams struggled without their starting quarterbacks. LSU was annihilated by Tennessee, TCU beat Kansas, Oklahoma State played close to Texas Tech, Utah lost to UCLA, NC State held on against Florida State, BYU was upset by Notre Dame, and Kentucky was upset by South Carolina, though the Wildcats were without Will Levis at quarterback.
ESPN updated its power rankings now that Week 6 is in the books, and there was some movement, regardless of the won-loss record for each team. Here is the latest.
