CAMDEN, N.J.–The Philadelphia 76ers are currently 2-0 in the preseason after they knocked off the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-112 on Wednesday, but the Sixers aren’t exactly happy with the way they played on the defensive end.
The Cavs scored 33 points in the opening quarter, when the starters on both sides played, and they shot 48% from the floor and 7-for-12 from deep. Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell were constantly getting into the paint which caused the Sixers to collapse and that led to Kevin Love getting open triples for Cleveland on the offensive end.
As the team convened for practice on Friday afternoon, the focus of the day was their work on the defensive end.
