IOWA CITY, Iowa — Michigan football had a tall task in Week 5: Win on the road at Iowa — something it hadn’t done in nearly two decades.
Much like last year, when the Wolverines were tasked with getting their first win in Madison in 20 years, the maize and blue emerged with a 27-14 win that was emphatic from the start.
Despite the tough Iowa defense and the raucous crowd, Michigan’s offense did what it needed from the opening kick while the defense made big plays down the stretch once the Hawkeyes got some momentum.
