After Jesse James landed on Injured Reserve after the loss to the New York Jets, a move at tight end felt imminent. Against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Browns elevated tight end Miller Forristall from the practice squad on a short week. Now, as they prepare for the Atlanta Falcons, the Browns have signed Forristall to the active roster rather than just elevating him for the week.
A move on the 53-man roster felt like it was coming down the pipes as the Browns tried out six players yesterday. Now that a spot on the practice squad has been cleared up, one of those six players may just find its way onto that roster.
They have also elevated both Roderick Perry and Curtis Weaver from the practice squad for this matchup.
We have downgraded Myles Garrett out for Sunday's game against Atlanta and signed TE Miller Forristall to the active roster
