The Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Texas A&M Aggies is one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the season after the name, image, likeness (NIL) feud between Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher this offseason. CBS Sports has capitalized on the opportunity by making it part of a doubleheader.
Auburn will take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the afternoon slot at 3:30 pm. EDT, with the Crimson Tide and Aggies kicking off Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. EDT. Georgia looks like arguably the best team in the country right now and will take on an Auburn side that has been struggling massively.
Aside from the NIL dispute, the Tide also lost to the Aggies in College Station last year and I can promise you they have had this date circled since then.
