The Minnesota Vikings were already going to be without CB Andrew Booth Jr. for Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles and they have added some insurance.
For Monday’s game, the Vikings elevated CB Duke Shelley from the practice squad.

The Vikings did a similar thing last week by elevating safety Myles Dorn from the practice squad to compensate for missing first-round pick Lewis Cine against the Packers.
Shelley was a sixth-round pick of the Chicago Bears in 2019. He spent three seasons with the team and while he played nine games in his rookie season, he didn’t record a single stat. He played in 30 total games over his first three seasons having registered 53 tackles and four passes defended.
Expect Shelley to make his Vikings debut on Monday night.
