ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Wolverines won their third-straight game to start the 2022 season.
Michigan dominated the UConn Huskies in every facet of the game. The Wolverines won on Saturday, 59-0.
J.J. McCarthy had his second-career start against the Huskies and like last week, the offense looked pretty prolific. While we didn’t see as many down-field throws, the offense moved with ease and the maize and blue had plenty of touchdown drives. Michigan totaled 465 yards of total offense. The Wolverines played eight different quarterbacks on Saturday and all of which had good-looking drives.
The Michigan defense was stifling against the UConn offense. The Huskies only managed 110 yards of offense and it went 2-for-14 on third downs. Zion Turner and UConn could only manage 24 yards thru the air.
Michigan recorded a shutout and Twitter was reacting all day. Here are the best reactions on Twitter.
