Vikings cornerback Cameron Dantzler leaves game with injury

Not a great sign for the third-year cornerback

The Minnesota Vikings had their first injury to a starter in the third quarter of the game against the Green Bay Packers.

Cameron Dantzler went down after a 29-yard run by Aaron Jones with an apparent injury to his leg. He was replaced by rookie fourth-round pick Akayleb Evans.

As SKOR North’s Judd Zulgad speculated, the injury was cramps which is common for both early in the season and in general. He is probable to return to the game, which is a good sign.

Without Dantzler in the game, the Vikings will be relying on rookies Evans and Andrew Booth Jr. along with special teams ace Kris Boyd.
