It’s a Rocket Sanders kind of day.
The sophomore running back, a week after his second career 100-yard game, and a quarter after his first score, went in for his second touchdown of the day early in the second quarter against South Carolina.
Sanders went to the right side around his offensive line from 11 yards and wasn’t touched until to the end zone as Arkansas took a 14-3 lead, scoring on both its drives to start the game.
Through that point, Sanders had 11 carries for 61 yards and a catch for 17. Both scoring drives went for double-digit plays as Arkansas’ offense methodically dismantled the Gamecocks’ defense each time.
