UFC 279 takes place Saturday with the possible farewell fight for one of the promotion’s biggest stars, but before the fights get underway, join MMA Junkie’s Farah Hannoun for a preview show right here at 5 p.m. ET.
After a tumultuous Friday caused by [autotag]Khamzat Chimaev[/autotag]’s massive weight miss, the new welterweight headliner will feature [autotag]Nate Diaz[/autotag] against [autotag]Tony Ferguson[/autotag] in what is the final fight on Diaz’s UFC contract. And in the co-main event, Chimaev – who originally was slated to meet Diaz – will take on [autotag]Kevin Holland[/autotag] in a catchweight bout. Both fights are scheduled for five rounds.
UFC 279 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view follwong prelims on ESPNews and ESPN+.
