Friday injury update for Browns Vs Panthers includes 4 questionable

A few updates on the final injury report of the week which has four players, combined, as questionable between the Browns and Panthers:

The Cleveland Browns opening game against the Carolina Panthers is right around the corner but, somehow, still feels so far away. Wednesday we shared with you the 10 players the Browns had listed on the injury report. We also shared the two Panthers that were on their list.

Thursday came with a few updates to the list including RB Christian McCaffrey being added to the list. McCaffrey got cut on the shin from another player’s cleat.

By Friday, the Panthers had removed both McCaffrey and kicker Eddy Pineiro off their injury list but added a player:

  • TE Giovanni Ricci – Hip – Full
  • LB Brandon Smith – Thigh – Limited

Ricci will not have a designation going into the game while Smith is listed as questionable.

As for Cleveland, a couple of positive changes came on Thursday with DEs Jadeveon Clowney and Chase Winovich as full participants. Thursday also included CB Greedy Williams being downgraded to not participating.

Friday’s updates for the Browns included Williams going on injured reserve and three players questionable for the game:

  • RT Jack Conklin – Knee
  • OL Chris Hubbard – Elbow
  • WR Michael Woods II – Hamstring

We may have to wait until Sunday morning to find out if the three Cleveland players and one Carolina player that are questionable will see the field.
