Auburn offers top 20 wideout from Texas for 2024

The four-star receiver brings some versatility to any team that wins his favor.

You can never have too many wideouts, and the Tigers know it.

2024 recruit Drelon Miller announced on Twitter that he was offered by the Tigers. Miller is the No. 12 wideout in Texas and the No. 103 recruit in the nation out of Silsbee, Texas. The four-star receiver now has eight offers from SEC schools.

Because his recruitment process is so far out, Miller has no projections or favorites in his process. He’s gotten plenty of offers from his home-state schools, however, with Texas, Texas A&M, Houston and Baylor all offering Miller. Time will tell how important staying at home will be to Miller and whether he wants to play in the SEC.

Miller is also a talented athlete in basketball as well, averaging 17.5 points and 4.4 rebounds during his high school sophomore year. On top of that, he plays both sides of the ball on the Silsbee High School football team, so he brings an added element of versatility to any team that wins his favor in the recruiting process.
