With Monday being Labor Day, a lot of people are spending their day off getting things done as summer comes to a close. The Cleveland Browns are back at practice to get ready for Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers and old friend QB Baker Mayfield.
The Browns got a few things done this weekend with the signing of TE Jesse James and Joe Haeg which led to the team waiving OL Drew Forbes and LB Jordan Kunaszyk.
We already got to see James for the first time in Cleveland’s uniform as practice got underway.
A few notes from Monday’s practice four players return to practice but one misses.
First, DE Myles Garrett is once again away from the team:
Myles Garrett not on the field for the start of Monday’s practice. Garrett has been excused from several recent practices to be with an ill family member. #Browns

Then we got multiple reports that everyone else that had been working on the side late last week was participating in the start of practice:
#Browns DE Jadeveon Clowney (rest), T Chris Hubbard (rest), S Ronnie Harrison Jr. (hamstring), CB A.J. Green (hip) back practicing after working on side last week.

Overall, great news on the health front for Cleveland as they prepare for the Panthers and the mystery that might be their offense this year.
We will keep you up to date on all the Browns news as Week 1 preparation is upon us.
