The Philadelphia Eagles have their third quarterback for the 53-man roster, as Field Yates reports that the team claimed Ian Book off of waivers from the Saints.
Book was drafted by New Orleans in the fourth round in 2021, starting one game, a December loss to the Dolphins in which he went 12-of-20 passing for 135 yards and two interceptions.
In three preseason games with the Saints this summer, Book logged 168 offensive snaps and went 42-of-65 for 315 yards with two touchdowns, two interceptions, and two lost fumbles.
