The cutdown day is in full force as the Vikings waived 2021 fourth-round pick Janarius Robinson per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The #Vikings are waiving edge rusher Janarius Robinson, the 2021 4th round pick who missed the 2021 season due to injury. Young player with rare physical traits who should receive waiver wire consideration.

Robinson was a draft darling among scouts, as he had a tremendous combination of size and athletic traits to build upon. Ever since the Vikings developed Danielle Hunter, they have been looking for the next one and some believed it could be Robinson.
Unfortunately, his career was put on hold before it could get started as he was placed on season-ending injured reserve before the start of the 2021 season.
While Robinson is a likely practice squad candidate, his undeveloped traits will likely get him claimed off the waiver wire in quick order.
