Wales is a long way from Pittsburgh. Trust us, we checked.
But while WWE Raw is going to be physically a long way from the site of Clash at the Castle on Monday night, it’s not far off in chronological terms at all. In fact, since WWE has so nicely shifted all remaining 2022 premium live events to Saturdays, it’s only five days away.
Since SmackDown was taped last week, that means this week’s Raw is the last time wrestlers will be able to make a statement in front of a live audience before everyone heads to the UK. And what could be a bigger statement than becoming champions? That’s what Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah will attempt to do when they take on Dakota Kai and IYO SKY in the final of the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
One of the hottest feuds over the past few weeks will likely get even hotter in Pittsburgh. Riddle and Seth Rollins are scheduled to come face to face, and last time that happened, it took darn near everyone else in WWE to pull them apart. It’s not likely to be any less explosive between them this week.
And one of the city’s favorite sons will make an appearance as well. That’d be Kurt Angle, Olympic champion. It’s not exactly clear what he’ll be doing, but the WWE Hall of Famer is entertaining any time he shows up, so we’re looking forward to whatever he’s got in store for the fans at the PPG Paints Arena.
We did mention this was the last live show before Clash at the Castle, right? That means you probably won’t want to miss it live on USA. But we can also understand you might be trying to squeeze the last bit of summer out of this Monday night, so if you bookmark this page and check back throughout the night, we’ll have the latest WWE Raw results live as they happen.
