The Baltimore Ravens are tasked with getting their roster down to 53 players by Tuesday, August 30th at 4pm EST. They’ll have to figure out how to keep as much of their talent as possible, as they’ve built up plenty of depth over the course of the 2022 offseason.
Baltimore will likely try to use roster gymnastics to make sure they don’t unnecessarily lose any player that can be a key contributors over the course of the year. That could include handshake deals with veterans until players are allowed to be placed on injured reserve without automatically missing the entire season with the designation.
