Clemson tight end Jake Briningstool is ready to make an impact in 2022.
As Clemson prepares for its season opener against Georiga Tech on Sept. 5, Briningstool is much more confident as he participates in his second fall camp with the Tigers.
With that renewed confidence has come anticipation for Bringingstool to become a reliable offensive threat.
“Last year was a lot different than now,” Briningstool said. “My head was constantly spinning (last year), and I didn’t really feel confident in what I was going to do. This year, I feel like I know what to do, and the game’s a lot slower. It comes to me better. I feel like I can go out there and dominate now.”
Coming off 2021, when he had three receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown, Briningstool has also seen a lot of growth for Clemson’s offensive personnel.
“I feel a lot better about the offense,” Bringinstool said. “I feel a lot better about my role, and I feel like the tight ends have a better situation now.”
The 6-foot-6 Briningstool brings massive potential to Clemson’s offense, as he was the No. 1 tight end recruit coming out of high school in 2021, according to 247Sports Composite.
