Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury has held out almost all his starters from preseason games, but two expected starters have gotten playing time.
Second-year linebacker Zaven Collins and second-year cornerback Marco Wilson have gotten early playing time in both preseason games.
The plan was to give them lots of training camp reps and more game experience.
That might change in the preseason finale. Kingsbury was not sure on Thursday whether they will play.
“It will be a game-time decision,” he told reporters after their walkthrough. “We’ll see how that goes, but we won’t know till tomorrow.”
It sounded like he was leaning toward playing them.
“(I) just want to continue to get those young players playing,” he said. “The more football they can play, the better. We’ll talk about it.”
The Cardinals and Titans kick off Saturday at 4 p.m. Arizona time.
