Lonzo Ball gifts new outdoor basketball court to hometown high school

The Los Angeles native presented Verbum Dei High School with a new basketball court.

While working to get back on the basketball court come training camp next month, Bulls guard Lonzo Ball is giving back to his community.

On Tuesday, Ball helped present a new outdoor basketball court at Verbum Dei High School in Los Angeles.

“It means a lot to me, especially to do it back home and just put a smile on their face. I’m in a good position where I can give back and help, and that is all I’m trying to do.,” Ball told Fox 11 Los Angeles.

Lonzo and his two brothers, LiAngelo and LaMelo, grew up in Los Angeles and attended Chino Hills High School.
