Destiny 2 Season 18 release time: How long are the servers down for?

Destiny 2 Season 18 is almost upon us, so we’ll tell you when the update releases and how long the servers will be down for in the run-up.

Destiny 2 marches towards the future once more as Season 18 is less than 24 hours away. This update, which is set to cover all of fall hosts a series of highly anticipated events, most notably the Festival of the Lost, a spooky Halloween-themed event, albeit in a unique Destiny way. There is also a new Reprise Raid on the way and the return of Trials of Osiris, so you’ll be able to fill your boots will all kinds of new content.

If you want to sink your teeth into this stuff as soon as possible, you’ll need to know when it launches. There will be some server downtime before the launch too, so you’ll be unable to play for a couple of hours in the build-up to the big release.
