For a select few teams in college football, it’s already game week. USC has to wait one more week before its first game week under Lincoln Riley, but we’re already at a point where season predictions are being made (and don’t feel out of place or premature).
It’s time to call our shot and lay it on the line: What will USC’s 2022 record be? What will the Trojans achieve? What bowl will they play in?
We told Mark Rogers at The Voice of College Football that we think USC will go 10-2, losing to Utah and Notre Dame. The Trojans will finish 8-1 in the Pac-12, sending them to the Pac-12 Championship Game in Las Vegas in early December. USC, having lost in Salt Lake City in October, will be set up well for the rematch in Sin City. The Trojans will win that game to claim the Pac-12 championship and move to the Rose Bowl to face Wisconsin.
Our USC show with Mark Rogers is every Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. in Los Angeles.
