Centerfielder Nick Senzel has recorded four hits and one home run since returning to the Reds’ lineup.
The former Vol missed three games due to a hamstring injury. He returned Aug. 19 in Cincinnati’s 5-4 win at Pittsburgh.
Senzel went 1-for-4 and recorded his fourth home run this season Aug. 14 against the Cubs.
He went 2-for-4, recording one RBI and one walk in Sunday’s series finale against Pittsburgh.
Senzel went 1-for-4 Saturday in the Reds’ 10-1 victory.
The former Vol has recorded a .247 batting average in 2022, totaling four home runs, 22 RBIs, 11 doubles, six stolen bases and 38 runs.
Senzel played for Tennessee from 2014-16 and was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 MLB draft by Cincinnati.
