He’ll try for his 8th career title and 2nd win this season. Cantlay holed out from 106 yards in the fairway on the par-5 14th and shot 65 despite twice missing 3-foot par putts.
Xander Schauffele (+380)
The 28-year-old pro, who opened at +2000 to win, shot a 5-under 66 to go with a 67-69 and is 1 stroke back. The No. 7 player in Golfweek’s rankings will try for his 8th career title and 3rd this season. Sunday will be the 6th time in 8 FedEx Cup playoff events Schauffele and Cantlay have played together. They were in the final group at the Travelers Championship (won by Schauffele) and they won the Zurich Classic as partners.
