Mack Brown and his staff at North Carolina are still prepping for the 2022 season as they open up against Florida A&M on Saturday night. But that hasn’t stopped them from paying attention to the recruiting trail, either.
Earlier in the week, the Tar Heels officially entered the race for a four-star running back out of Florida by extending a scholarship offer to Anthony Carrie.
The Tampa Bay native is one of the top players at his position in the 2024 class and now has a total of 36 offers in his recruitment. Teams like Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon among others have offered.

North Carolina has yet to land a prospect in the 2024 class but does have several offers out. With the 2023 class still picking up momentum, let’s see if UNC can get off to a good start for the 2024 cycle as well.
