Basketball season may not kick off until early November, but Auburn fans still have a lot to get excited about.
The Tigers released their non-conference schedule on Friday, detailing all the opponents they will be playing outside of the SEC. Auburn has a total of eight home non-conference games and six away non-conference games.
The most exciting of the team’s non-conference games look to be all away games, much to the chagrin of Tigers fans. Memphis, USC and West Virginia should serve to be good games for Auburn, and they’ll act as a test for the Tigers’ reloaded roster after the departures of [autotag]Jabari Smith[/autotag] and [autotag]Walker Kessler[/autotag] to the NBA.
Auburn did well in non-conference games in 2021-22, going 13-3 over its non-conference slate. The team also did well on the road, going 8-3, which may encourage [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] and his squad when it comes to those tough non-conference games on the road.
