SALT LAKE CITY – There were no issues on the weigh-in scale for [autotag]Paulo Costa[/autotag] or [autotag]Luke Rockhold[/autotag] in advance of the UFC 278 co-main event.
Costa (13-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) and Rockhold (16-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC) successfully made the middleweight limit on Friday morning, setting the stage for their anticipated clash.
Former title challenger Costa was 185.5 pounds – as he guaranteed he would be earlier in the week – while former UFC and Strikeforce champ Rockhold also 185.5 pounds for his first fight in more than three years.
Costa, however, was very angry when he revealed he’d been drug tested by USADA in the midst of his cut.
