UNC WR Josh Downs signs NIL deal with NOBULL

UNC football wide receiver Josh Downs is one of the first athletes to join NOBULL on an NIL deal.

Just days after athletic training brand NOBULL agreed to a multi-year deal with the NFL to be the official Combine Training Partner of the NFL and the Official On-Field Supplier of Apparel and Headwear for the NFL Scouting Combine, a current North Carolina player is joining the team as well.

[autotag]Josh Downs[/autotag] is one of a few initial college football players to join the NOBULL brand as part of a NIL deal, the athletic training brand announced on Thursday. Downs joins Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young and Georgia tight end Brock Bowers among others as initial NIL athletes for the brand.

Downs will be able to sport NOBULL apparel through the NIL deal and likely will wear it again at the NFL combine if he leaves UNC after this year.

The wide receiver is coming off a breakout 2021 campaign for the Tar Heels, setting a few different program records a receiver. He enters this year with a potential first-round grade on him for the 2023 NFL draft and he hopes to see his stock continue to climb.
