No fans are as passionate as Steelers fans.

There might not be a fanbase more rabid and more loyal in all of professional sports than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Former Steelers offensive lineman Willie Colon backed that up with a story he told in an interview with Rachel DeMita.

Colon described a time when he was playing for the Steelers and on IR. He was attending an area church service and was of course surrounded by Steelers fans. According to Colon it was a 1:00 pm service and the Steelers had an afternoon kickoff. Colon said the Padre announced it was almost game time and they had to wrap it up early and the congregation was all on board with cutting church short for the Steelers.
