The Baltimore Ravens extended their record-setting preseason winning streak to 21-straight games on Thursday night, defeating the Tennessee Titans by the final score of 23-10. It was a game in which Baltimore took control of after a highly contested first half, outscoring Tennessee 9-0 in the second half.
Quarterback Tyler Huntley started the game for the Ravens and played the entire first half, completing 16-of-18 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown while also rushing for 17 yards on three carries. Undrafted rookie free agent quarterback Anthony Brown then came in and performed well, completing 10-of-15 passes for 117 yards.
Baltimore saw contributions from multiple offensive playmakers, including running backs Mike Davis and Justice Hill, wide receivers Shemar Bridges and Makai Polk, and tight end Isaiah Likely. While not many of the team’s starters suited up, the performances of some of the young players were extremely encouraging.
The Ravens’ defense forced three turnovers on the night, one on a forced fumble by Malik Harrison and two more on interceptions by Daryl Worley and Geno Stone. The unit played well as a whole, with other standouts including Travis Jones and Steven Means.
Baltimore will have 10 days until their next preseason game, a Week 2 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals on August 21st.
