College football will soon be upon us, and that means it’s time for an all new College Football Anthem from ESPN, which will undoubtedly be played so many times that you will never want to hear the song again come January.
Previous selections have included “Run It” by DJ Snake, “Come & Go” by Juice WRLD and “Natural” by Imagine Dragons.
This time around, the song you will hear in every single ESPN commercial or promo during the season will be “The Emperor,” a new single by British singer Yungblud, whose self-titled album releases shortly after the season begins on Sept. 2.
Here’s a preview, and perhaps the first of many times you will hear this song this fall.

It’s a pretty cool song, in my opinion. It certainly gets me hype for the start of football season at the end of the month.
It’s a shame I’ll probably hate it after hearing it for the 697th time.
