Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers likes one aspect of camp in particular

Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers likes bonding with his teammates during training camp.

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is heading into his third training camp with the team. Although camp can be a grind, he still enjoys one aspect of it in particular.

Meyers figures to be a key weapon for New England, and should be able to bring a leadership presence to a room that is filled with new faces. Those new receivers are part of the reason why Meyers loves training camp so much.

“Teammates. We come out here, we kind of grind together, workout together, eat together,” Meyers said Wednesday during his time with the media on Wednesday. “You know what I mean? So, you spend a lot of time with the boys, and it’s a lot of fun. I mean we do all types of things. We just compete in everything we do, even within the room we compete. But at the same time, we all love each other, so that’s definitely my favorite part.”

He will look to have another strong year, in what has been an upward-trending career. However, he will make sure to have fun along the way, as the Patriots offense looks to continue the positive momentum from last season both on and off the field.
