Everyone is chomping at the bit for more information regarding Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Rightfully so, since it’s been an astronomically long time since the last mainline installment came out. As such, The Pokémon Company announced on Monday that we’ll learn more about the newer games very soon.
Pokémon Presents will go live Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at 6:00 A.M. PDT // 9:00 A.M. EDT // 1:00 P.M. GMT on the official YouTube channel. In addition to more Scarlet and Violet specifics, there’s a good chance that there’ll be updates on Pokémon Go, Pokémon Unite, and whatever else might be coming later down the line. Potentially some more Legends: Arceus news too. Fingers crossed, anyway.
‼️ Attention, Trainers! ‼️
Tune in to our YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 3rd at 6AM PT for a #PokemonPresents video presentation with updates on Pokémon apps and video games, including #PokémonScarletViolet!

Historically, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo drop enormous announcements regarding the franchise at these “Presents” streams. For example, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were initially shown off at the February 2022 show. We didn’t see either game for roughly four months, but the trailer earlier this summer was worth the wait. It’s likely that this forthcoming showcase will be even bigger than that.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are coming out on Nov. 18, 2022, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Yes, there is less than four months to go!
