The first day of Cincinnati Bengals training camp was largely uneventful.
Minus, the franchise quarterback Joe Burrow missing after needing surgery to remove his appendix, the absence of a franchise-tagged star and rookies already making a name for themselves, to name a few things.
So maybe it wasn’t really all that uneventful after all.
Not only were there media sessions and plenty of autographs to go around for the fans who managed to show up for the first day, the play on the field — without pads, of course — let some early risers stick out.
