The Tampa Bay Buccaneers landed another future Hall of Famer this week, signing seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones to a one-year deal.
He joins quarterback Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, along with a pair of other Pro Bowl wide receivers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and one of the NFL’s best offensive lines.
The Bucs are coming off a 2021 campaign that ended with a heartbreaking loss in the second round of the playoffs, but they’re primed for another potential Super Bowl run, loaded once again with elite talent and some of the league’s biggest names.
The addition of Jones puts the Bucs over the top as the NFL’s most intriguing team heading into this season, says Rich Eisen:
While the Bucs lost one future gold jacket owner in Rob Gronkowski, they’ve replaced his dominant presence with another elite pass-catcher.
