The Philadelphia 76ers agreed to a 2-year deal with James Harden earlier in the offseason, but now, it is official. The ink is dried on the contract and that means that Harden will be wearing a Philadelphia uniform on opening night in October.
President Daryl Morey, as he always does, took to Twitter to announce the official moves that he and the team have made. Morey has always had a great relationship with Harden dating back to the Houston Rockets days so it makes sense as to why Harden wanted to stay and play for his friend and the Sixers.

“This is where I want to be. This is where I want to win, and I think we have the pieces to accomplish that goal,” Harden said via an official press release. “From my first day with the 76ers organization, the team and the fans have helped me feel at home here in Philadelphia. I’m excited to build off of last season and I can’t wait to get out on the court with the guys and start this journey.”
