Tennessee’s Angus Pence records one hit against Boone.

Tennessee redshirt freshman Angus Pence went 1-for-4 in Forest City’s 6-2 victory against the Boone Big Foots in a Coastal Plain League Tuesday.

Pence recorded one RBI and one run for the Owls. Forest City is 5-0 during the second half of the season.

Pence was a leadoff hitter and played leftfield against Boone. He has recorded a .400 batting average during the second half of the season.

He redshirted in 2022 at Tennessee.

Pence was an all-state shortstop at Farragut High School in Farragut, Tennessee, winning the 2019 TSSAA Class AAA state championship.

Pence has played second base, shortstop, third base and left field for Forest City.

He has appeared in 21 games, recording 16 hits, four doubles, eight RBIs and seven runs.
