According to a report from Evan Flood of 247Sports, Badgers’ senior offensive linemen Cormac Sampson will not be returning to the program this fall.
Sampson, a three-star recruit from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in 2018, appeared in 32 games during his career at UW, including six starts.
The Badgers will sorely miss his versatility along the offensive line this fall; he was projected to be one of the top backup options on the interior.
Per PFF, Sampson made appearances at center, guard, tackle, and blocking tight end while donning the cardinal and white.
The Wisconsin native is moving on from the program to begin his career as an educator and will also coach football at Sun Prarie High School this fall.
